Umbrella Behind Bars

This was inspired by a picture from Pinterest. So, I had to change all the colours and the design, which was really, really tough. Making the purple that sits beside the umbrella was the hardest because it would not mix! It went brown, then it went grey, then it went pink and then eureka, I got it! But I also had to change every section of the bars. So first I did light green but then, oh no, what goes with light green? I went for pink next, then turquoise, then dark purple and thought “Oh no, I’ve gone wrong!” But then I did the yellow and it was fine! The hardest part was finding a background that would make the colours stand out. And then there was the umbrella - I knew for a fact that I wanted orange (and those that know me will know that this goes without saying)! What goes with orange though? I did turquoise and thought I’d gone wrong again, but then I did red and it was okay, especially with the dark blue in the middle, which really brought it to life.
